I knew Jeannette through our work at the Child Abuse Prevention Center in Dutchess County (Task Force for Child Protection). Jeannette led successful efforts in creating a County wide protocol for the reporting of non-familial sexual abuse, which was the first document of it's kind in the country. She also co-led a treatment group for mothers of abused children and coordinated hundreds of training on the mandated reporting of child maltreatment. Jeannette was a petite dynamo, and wonderful person, who did ground breaking work on behalf of children. She always drove great cars, too! May she rest in peace.
