Barbara F. Scripter
Died: Jan 15, 2018
Barbara F. Scripter of Putnam Valley, New York passed away peacefully at home on January 15th, 2018 after a long illness. She is predeceased by her husband Gilbert N. Scripter and her granddaughter Bernadette Sullivan. She is survived by her brother, Richard Fagan of Pavilion, NY. Barbara leaves behind her six children, Gilbert R. Scripter of Putnam Valley, Joan Kearins of Clinton Corners, NY, Rebecca Sullivan of Tamiment, Pa, Donald Scripter of W. Springfield, MA, David Scripter of Bridgewater, MA and Deborah Borrell of Putnam Valley. She is also survived by fifteen loving grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Barbara’s life at the Chapel at Rose Hills Cemetary in Putnam Valley, NY at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 19th, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Graymoor Sisters of Atonement in Garrison, NY or an organization of your choice devoted to U.S. Veterans.

Aunt Barb was the sweetest person - always smiling. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with Uncle Gilbert and her, especially as a child visiting in Leroy, and all those fun reunions in Protection. I will always cherish our last time together playing night golf with them in Pike. Aunt Barb is now in the arms of God and the Angels, free of pain and back with loved ones. The family is in my thoughts and Prayers.
